Michael Annett earned his best finish of the season last weekend at Road America, driving to a third-place result on the 4.048-mile road course.
Annett will have another special paint scheme on his No. 1 Chevrolet this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, announcing Pilot Flying J’s entry into the chicken-sandwich game. The new sandwich comes in Southern and Spicy varieties, which are available seven days a week at more than 300 Pilot and Flying J travel centers across the country.
Over seven starts this season on tracks measuring 1.33 to 1.5 miles, Annett has four top-10 finishes, including a seventh-place result at Atlanta in March.
“We’re going back to Atlanta on a good run, and this No. 1 team is hitting its stride at a good time of the season. The playoffs are coming up, and we’re running better and better every week. We were really fast at the end at Road America, and we ran well at Atlanta earlier in the season. I really like this special paint scheme announcing the arrival of the Southern and Spicy chicken sandwiches to the growing menu at Pilot Flying J locations, and I can’t wait to try one myself.” - Michael Annett
